If you are a technology lover and want to remain updated about the latest inventions, you have come to the right point. In this article, we will learn about the tech evn – the latest. It will be a complete package for you to collect all the essential news of the latest inventions of Vietnam electricity.
What is EVN?
EVN stands for Electricity of Vietnam. It is the largest power company in Vietnam. Its role is to generate electricity, its transmission, and distribution in the country. It is a state-owned company started in 1994. Since then, it is fulfilling the need for electricity in the country.
It has its own large hydropower and coal fire plants, with a capacity of 28,169 MW. So it contributes and generates electricity for 58% of the national power generating system. It used to enjoy a monopoly in the country, but now it depends on different oil and gas companies. They only have 37.6% of the country’s installed capacity of 80,000 megawatts. It is the only buyer of electricity from private power plants.

Journey of EVN:
EVN has a rich history of starting new projects for electricity production. Undoubtedly, it has played a very significant role in developing the country’s infrastructure. It has devised many programs such as The Vietnam Rural Electrification Programme, The Borgen Project, and Vietnam Low Emission Energy Program II Power Development Plan 8.
In the coming years, it has embraced many electrical advancements into the system, like innovative grid systems and digital innovations to improve customer service.
Now, as it does not enjoy a monopoly in electricity generation, the retail price is not decided by the EVN but by the government. This is making it suffer loss. Last year, the rate of electricity production was increased to 9%, but the government allowed it to increase the price by 3%, which is losing EVN.
Tech EVN-latest :
Tech EVN – latest is a new dynamic to measure the latest technology in the field. EVN is set to launch and introduce recent technological advancements in the field of electricity. They are working on shifting it into digital systems, and by 2025, they will be entirely digitized.
It has aimed to enhance its electricity safety system, stability, and customer service. Besides this, it is entirely focused on its new project of launching in-house automated products to support the ‘Make in Vietnam” motto.
They are introducing a three-phase electricity gauge, EVN electric vehicle charger, and the intelligent remote fault indicator (SRFI). Its other tech advancements include OMS ( outage management system), Remote data collection software named EVNHES, and load dispatch digitization project.
Goals of EVN to achieve :
Tech EVN – latest has set specific goals to achieve as per their technological advancements. We will analyze their goals to check the improvements they want to achieve.
- Digitalization 2025
