Each person extends their right leg to the side, turning their right foot at a 90-degree angle. The left foot should be turned slightly inward.

Next, each person reaches their right arm up towards the ceiling and then comes forward, placing their right hand on their friend’s left shin or ankle. The left arm is extended upwards towards the sky. Each person should feel a deep stretch through their side body and legs. Hold the pose for several breaths, then switch sides. This pose is excellent for building trust and communication, as each person must rely on their friends to support them in the carriage.

Three-Legged Downward Facing Dog

Downward facing dog is a famous yoga pose known for its ability to stretch the hamstrings, calves, and shoulders. 

In this group, variations of yoga pose for 3 people come into a traditional downward-facing dog pose with their hands and feet on the ground.

Next, each person lifts their right leg towards the ceiling while keeping their left foot on the ground. They then bring their right leg down and place it on their friend’s back, just above their hips. Seated Wide-Legged Forward Fold

In this group variation of the pose, three friends sit facing each other in a circle with their legs spread wide apart.

Next, each person reaches forward, touching their friends’ shins or ankles. They then fold forward, bringing their forehead towards the ground. 

Each person should feel a deep stretch in their legs and hips and a sense of relaxation and release. Hold the pose for many breaths, then release.

Group Boat Pose

Seated Twist

The seated twist is a gentle pose that three people can perform. First, have all three people sit on the floor with their legs crossed. The person in the middle should then place their hands on the knees of the person on either side of them. 

The two outer people should twist their torsos towards the middle person while the middle person twists their torso in the opposite direction. This pose is great for improving spinal flexibility and digestion.
